Local Entrepreneur Publishes Book on Latest Recruiting Methods

Press release September 30, 2009 Business

Paulette Bennett of e-TalentSourcing publishes second book

Paulette Bennett of e-TalentSourcing has just published, “A Practical Guide to Candidate Sourcing”, the first in a series of training manuals specifically designed to teach recruiters the latest and most effective sourcing methodologies available leveraging web 2.0 technology.

“Sourcing and recruiting is quickly evolving.  Predictions for the year 2010 and beyond state that companies that rely on job board postings, resume databases, and reactive recruiting will fall behind in the race for locating quality candidates” said Paulette.  “It is imperative that companies become immersed in technologically advanced, proactive candidate sourcing and recruiting to compete, specifically where it applies to attracting Generation Y talent.”

“A Practical Guide to Candidate Sourcing” is packed full of sources for recruiters to identify candidates.  Sourcing for candidates can be time consuming and frustrating.  This is an easy to use desk reference that will save time and enhance a recruiter’s performance… increasing their own earning potential while growing the company’s bottom line dollars.

Paulette added, “Recruiters can become so overwhelmed trying to source and recruit that it adversely affects their performance.  This book addresses the most practical and effective methods, enabling them to spend more time on revenue producing activities… specifically, speaking with people.”

Paulette currently holds the position of President for e-TalentSourcing, a North Carolina company that specializes in recruiter training, candidate database development, and working with job seekers to assist in their search for opportunities.  She is a Pennsylvania native who now resides in North Carolina.  She is a Certified Internet Recruiter, Certified Diversity Recruiter, and a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist and has worked in Talent Acquisition for more than 15 years.

e-TalentSourcing offers employers recruiter training, candidate database development, and outplacement services.  For jobseekers, e-TalentSourcing conducts workshops on how to leverage social media in their job search and sponsors a monthly meetup group for networking with other jobseekers.  Their first book, “Social Media The Internet and Your Job Search – Making it Work for You!” is a basic guide for job seekers introducing them to web sites that will help them gain exposure on the Internet and create their personal brand.
