1.0 - Introduction

PressPort uses cookies on its website to enhance the user experience and measuring traffic. PressPort also uses cookies via third parties.

When we provide services, we want to make them easy, useful and reliable. Where services are delivered on the internet, this sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your device, for example, computer or mobile phone. These include small text files known as cookies. Cookies cannot carry viruses, or install malware.

2.0 - What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (for example, your computer, smartphone or anything else you visit our website). Cookies cannot contain viruses and malware.

A cookie often contains a unique identifier and is stored on your device.

This information is used to improve the Service for you, for example:

  • You do not have to provide the same information several times during a task, e.g. filling out a form
  • you may already have given a username and password so you do not have to do it again
  • measure how many people use the Service to make it easier to use
  • analyze data to help us understand how people interact with the different aspects of the service so we can do them better

3.0 - Storing and deleting a cookie

Cookies automatically delete themselves after some time (which typically varies from cookie to cookie), but cookies can also be renewed automatically on each new visit to the Service.

For more information about cookies, or if you'd like to know how to remove cookies set on your device, visit: http://www.aboutcookies.org.

If you want to restrict or block the cookies that relate to the Service, or any other website, you can do this via your browser settings. The "Help" feature in your browser tells you how.

Alternatively, you may wish to visit www.aboutcookies.org which provides comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of browsers. You can also find information on how to delete cookies from your device, as well as more general information about cookies.

Please note that limitation of cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

4.0 - Which cookies are used by the Service?
