You won’t believe it’s not rattan

This spring Sika-Design has big news. Their maintenance-free garden furniture is now available in a color that looks exactly like the natural material rattan. With this new color, Sika-Design has finally solved the dilemma of beautiful natural-looking garden furniture that is weather-resistant. Both new designs as well as iconic models have been added to outdoor collection in this new exciting color called “natural”.

Once again Sika-Design stands out as a pioneer in the field of unique garden furniture. In 2015, Sika-Design took the lead with new techniques and materials in the form of Alu-rattan and ArtFibre, which provide the same comfort and flexibility as natural rattan. Now Sika-Design once again mark themselves as international trendsetters by manufacturing weather-resistant garden furniture that looks exactly like their indoor rattan counterparts. The procedure is not easy, but definitely worth it. To achieve the best and most lifelike result, the garden furniture is first powder coated and then hand painted. It is a craft that requires great expertise and an eye for the original rattan look, right down to every little knob.
