Wild Welsh Wood Joins the Helfa Gelf Art Trail in North Wales

Wild Welsh Wood are delighted to announce they are to be included as part of the Helfa Gelf art trail this year in North Wales and will be opening up their workshop on Saturdays and Sundays throughout September 2011 from 11am-5pm for the general public to view their magical ranges of hand crafted rustic furniture.

Based within the breathtaking mountains and valleys of Wales, Wild Welsh Wood have made a huge impact on the rustic furniture and eco friendly industries this year, so much so that they have been included as part of the world famous Helfa Gelf art trail that covers North Wales throughout September.

Helfa Gelf is a free annual event that is now in it's sixth year and has grown in popularity year on year, it covers a huge area of North Wales spread throughout the counties and surrounding areas of Wrexham, Conwy, Flintshire, Denbighshire and Gwynedd. Helfa Gelf's art trail offers visitors and enthusiasts a unique chance to go behind the scenes of normally hidden worlds of artists and crafts people such as Wild Welsh Wood.

This annual event also allows interaction and opportunities for visitors to speak with the highly experienced crafts people about their individualist skills and techniques in all types of art related crafts such as painters, sculptors, photographers, jewellery makers, woodworkers, potters, textile workers, glass makers, basket weavers and printers to name a few.

Wild Welsh Wood's studio is based at the foot of the world famous Dolgoch Falls in a traditional Welsh farm surrounding that is visitor freindly and accessible to all. The Wild Welsh Wood team of skilled craftsmen create extraordinary pieces of rustic furniture and woodland furniture using reclaimed locally sourced wood. Seeing the Wild Welsh Wood team in action whilst enjoying a cup of tea amongst the sawdust is an experience to be savoured, offering a real insight into the world of real hand made artwork in front of your eyes.
