On a personal note 2013 was a fantastic year for London Shoeshine Limited; they launched a new home visit shoe shine service, traveled abroad to support clients with a range of exhibition services and had the pleasure of supporting some famous names such as Ted Baker, Oliver Sweeney, Pall Mall Barbers and a landmark first in the shape of a collaboration with Shoeshine UK to form the Mayfair Shoeshine Collective.
It is fair to say London Shoeshine enjoyed every minute of 2013 and have begun 2014 in the best way possible with a visit to Los Angeles, USA which is one of the most famous shoe shining cities in the world.
In the Spring their team will be visiting Paris to meet French Patina artists and hone our their own patina shoe shine skills ready to unleash them on the UK and take shoe shining services to a new level.
They will also be expanding and making a big push on exhibition shoe shine services due to the success of this avenue in 2013 throughout Europe.
Director and Founder of London Shoeshine Limited Jock Kennedy said "One thing last year taught us is that forming strong and related collaborations is a fantastic way for us to expand and to help the shoe shining industry as a whole get more exposure and into new places – working alongside shoe retailers, department stores and gentlemen’s grooming services such as barbershops are evidence of this."
The shoe shine industry as a whole is thriving and shoe shining is just as popular now as it was decades ago which bodes well for the future.
Look out for news of collaborations between London Shoeshine Limited and related services in the very near future, they also have online and offline media features lined up so with any luck 2014 should carry on from last year’s successes.
