"Adopting Scalable Communications Plc as our new company name is far more than mere window dressing", said Simon Brown, Managing Director. "The new name, together with the new strap line, ‘Converge. Unify. Secure.' is a reflection on the solutions and services that we provide to our customers and the breadth of our offering today."

"Scalable has grown dramatically over the past 11 years, adding a number of new technologies and services to our portfolio that address a growing number of core market segments such as healthcare, professional services, media and retail", continued Brown.

"We started the company as a highly focused IP networking and security integrator providing solutions and services based upon best-of-breed technology.  That remains an important part of our business today, but has also served as a firm foundation from which to broaden our offering over the last five years to include voice and convergence.  More latterly we have also got heavily involved in Unified Communications."

The change of name has become effective following registration at Companies' House.
