Paris Goes Electric
Press release May 26, 2010 HealthParty queen Paris Hilton is the latest A-list celebrity to ditch cigs in favour of a SmokeStik, after being spotted at a trendy LA club with the e-cig in hand.
The world’s most famous It Girl stunned clubbers by puffing on what looked like a normal cig whilst indoors – despite California’s ban on smoking.
However, after closer inspection it became clear that she was actually using a SmokeStik, the world’s most popular e-cig, which is exempt from the ban.
Her father, hotel tycoon Richard Hilton, was said to have been unhappy with Paris’ casual smoking.
Now the 29 year old heiress, who is also a successful model, singer and fashion designer has gone electric - satisfying her nicotine cravings without upsetting her father.
Paris joins a long list of celebrities who have switched from cigs to a SmokeStik, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and Sarah Harding all spotted puffing on the product.
The SmokeStik, which was launched in the UK last year after widespread success in the US, has been extremely popular in Britain, with even increasing taxation and regulation placed on smoking.
Now the company are challenging Brits to kick the habit for good and enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
