One Week Remaining For Bingo Bride Hopefuls

Press release March 31, 2010 Lifestyle

In one week a bingo website will choose the UK’s first ever bingo bride, with a flood of last minute entries anticipated.

OnlineBingoClub.co.uk is offering one lucky couple £5000 towards the cost of their nuptials in return for sponsoring the happy event.

All the couple have to do is agree to carry OnlineBingoClub.co.uk’s logo on their wedding invitations, table settings and menus and to pose for promotional photographs and publicity material.

The bride will also be expected to sport a logo on her wedding dress – although this will be velcroed on and can be removed for personal photos.

Now the search is on to find a couple who will agree to having their wedding sponsored. Being huge online bingo fans will be an advantage but is not thought to be essential.

The wedding will be the first arranged by controversial new service Pimp My Bride through their website www.PimpMyBride.eu .

With the average UK wedding costing over £11,000, many couples simply can’t afford their perfect day and OnlineBingoClub’s Rob Hutchison says he’s pleased to be able to offer one couple the chance of a wedding they’ll never forget.

Mr Hutchison said: “We all know how expensive weddings can be. After taking care of a venue, dress, catering, photographer and cake things soon add up.

“Sometimes the bride to be will say she’s not bothered about a big, extravagant wedding but we all know that’s never really the case.

“We’re hoping to give one lucky bride the wedding she’s always dreamed of and all she has to do is feature our company’s logo on her dress and wedding invites, which I believe is a small price to pay for a life-long memory.

“Our logo is really colourful and I think it will stand out well against the backdrop of a traditional white wedding dress.

“The five thousand pounds can be used towards the cost of the wedding reception or to fund a dream honeymoon. We really don’t mind.”

With over half a million Brits regularly logging on for a game of bingo it seems the thought of displaying the website’s logo on their wedding dress will be no deterrent to many.

To enter the competition brides to be must send in pictures of themselves and their partner, a short biography about their relationship and 100 words on what it would mean to them to become the world’s first bingo bride, to [email protected] .
