North West Business Energy Broker Takes on Staff Following Redundancies

Press release August 14, 2012 Energy & Environment

Leading North West based business utility broker, Utility Renewals, have expanded their ever growing workforce over the past week by employing around ten staff who were previously employed by a local business that recently went in to administration.

Last month the North West of England, in particular the East Lancashire area, was rocked with the news that one of its longest standing companies, Samuel Cooke & Co. and Company Fuel Cards Limited had gone into administration and as a result had made 86 immediate staff redundancies.

In these times of economic downturn and financial hardship, any news such as this will always hit local communities hard as jobs are not as freely available as they once were, even for skilled staff.

Having heard the news of the impending redundancies, Utility Renewals, a North West based energy broker, have employed ten of the staff and will utilise their current skill sets to expand their own customer service and account management teams whilst also offering them an excellent opportunity to increase their skill set in the commercial electricity, gas & telecom sectors.

It is great to see experienced candidates being offered an opportunity to get straight back into employment that is related to their own individual experience whilst also offering fantastic training opportunities. This is great news for the new staff, the company and their growing number of clients.

They have the chance to learn how to build relationships with a different set of B2B clients to deliver the best quality services and save companies money on their business electricity, business gas and commercial telecoms prices.

Utility Renewals have built a solid reputation for helpful customer service and providing great savings on business telecoms, electricity and gas contracts.

If you feel that employment within the challenging utility broker sector may be just what you are looking for, you can visit http://www.utilityrenewals.com/job-vacancies/ for a list of Utility Renewals’ current job vacancies and apprenticeships.
