We were at full cast rehearsals for M J Timeless www.mjtimeless.com yesterday in London and unusual as it is for us to make comment at this stage of production, we were spellbound by what we saw.

MJ Timeless Dancers ‘Plague’ have been in show rehearsals for the past two weeks under choreographer Brooke Milliner, and we watched as Michael Jackson Tribute Artist Danny Oliver and the B Boys (Break Dancers) joined Plague in full rehearsal.

We thought (a) Danny was phenomenal and seamlessly worked alongside Plague as though both had done so for years, (b) Plague’s routines are nothing short of inspirational and (c) the ‘B’ Boys extraordinary performance pushes the boundaries of what the human body can physically achieve to create unbelievable visual ‘Break Dance’ effects.

We believe MJ TIMELESS is on track to be the most refreshingly innovative and hi-energy production to hit Blackpool in the last two or three decades and rivals any similar production currently running in London.

We were so proud to witness yesterday’s rehearsal.

MJ TIMELESS Is a Spectacular Hi-Energy and Special Effects Song and Dance Tribute to the unique Michael Jackson and features his classic hits from Motown to Present Day with sensational Choreography, Costumes and Spectacular Visual Effects. Rehearsals are well underway in London and the cast will be in Blackpool to begin local rehearsals on MONDAY 12th July.  Tickets are selling well, the sun is shining down on Blackpool and we can't wait for the show to begin on 22nd July.

TIMELESS Michael Jackson Impersonator Danny Oliver has been chosen to emulate the moves of Michael Jackson and does so with meticulous precision. Danny’s talent has reached worldwide audiences in England, Germany, United States, Paris, Majorca, Cyprus and Denmark to name but few. He has just returned from France where he appeared as Michael Jackson with Michael’s guitarist Jennifer Batten at a Michael Jackson Memorial Concert in Paris on 27th June.

Danny’s Says:

Michael was as inspirational off stage as he was onstage. His humanitarian efforts and charitable work helped millions of people all over the world.

I’ve had the honour of meeting Michael many times. I have performed for Michael in both London and New York and have received his personal recognition for my performance and shared countless moments of magic in his company.

To translate the emotion of Michael’s magic in tribute to Michael’s live performance on stage is such a joy, and an incredible passion to me.

MJ TIMELESS production is my dream come true and I will give my ‘all’ to Michael and Blackpool, in treasured and loving memory.

PLAGUE

BROOKE MILLINER: Plague choreographer & star performer of excellence.

Plague learned their craft direct from  the Electric Boogaloos in America who actually taught Michael Jackson ‘poppin’ during the 70’s and 80’s and choreographed and performed on so many of his videos and world tours, including Thriller, Bad and Beat It.

Plague is the only UK dance group ever to be taught by the Electric Boogaloos.

Michael Jackson was Plague’s inspiration to dance; Michael is in their hearts just as he is in the heart of so many dancers. TIMELESS is their opportunity to pay tribute to Michael in their own unique way and they do so in a style which is simply stunning and as unique as the man who inspired them to dance, Michael Jackson.

Plague are the only UK dancers ever to have won the Hip Hop World Championships in America. They’ve been the dancers behind numerous Chart Topping Artists including Madonna and Brooke Milliner their Dance Choreographer was a featured dancer in Street Dance 3D. The seven members of Plague are joined by two International House Dancers from France as well as three World Class Break Dancers from Holland and the UK and the overall outcome is phenomenal.

Special Guest Vocalist: Celena Cherry of 90’s Chart Success Group ‘The Honeyz’ was a personal friend of Michael Jackson and will be paying her own heartfelt tribute to Michael. Other Vocalists are Tim Harding from Australia’s High-5, and Laura Houston, who also met Michael at his Neverland Ranch and Gemma Kotack.

The Globe, Pleasure Beach Resort, Blackpool, is a spectacular atmospheric 800 seat auditoria complete with latest Hi-Tech lighting and special effects with a circular stage that is absolutely ideal for this production.

Anand Bhatt is TIMELESS Director and Choreographer. Anand is a Life Long Fan of Michael Jackson and runs his own Dance Academy in Leicester. He is a highly acclaimed Choreographer and Producer and has previously staged Michael Jackson 50 and 51, birthday tributes to sell out audiences. Anand is one of the hottest upcoming dance producers in the UK and nationally recognised for his Bollywood dance productions.

The Executive Producer is David Lee, who has over 30 years experience of theatre.
