Koldwear Direct Announce Expansion Plans

Koldwear Direct, a rapidly expanding online and offline retailer in the outdoor sector have announced they are looking for new outdoor clothing and accessories manufacturers to cope with customer demand and company growth plans.

After launching the business in early January 2011, Koldwear Direct announced that making an impact on the outdoor clothing sector as soon as possible was one of the key company objectives, today at the end of February 2011, less than two months into full trading Koldwear have announced that they are now actively seeking new outdoor clothing and outdoor equipment manufacturers to cope with growing customer demand and company growth plans.

Koldwear Direct launch the company website fully on 1st March and have already indicated that they will be launching a free giveaway competition of military clothing and army surplus clothing, which is sure to create even more interest for the website.

Key brands such as Berghaus and The North Face have been indentified as long term manufacturers of outdoor products, however at such an early stage in the lifespan of the businesss Koldwear Direct are hoping to attract and cement supply partnerships with smaller, SME sized outdoor clothing and outdoor accessories manufacturers in the UK and beyond.

Gary Kay, Director of Koldwear Direct said "Since we launched the company and parts of the website in early January 2011 we could not have predicated the amount of phone calls, traffic to the website and also offline sales generated via local marketing and stall trading at outdoor shows, as the website expands and is fully launched on March 1st we feel now as a company that expansion plans need to be brought forward and we are actively sending the message out that we welcome new product and outdoor related partnerships from outdoor clothing, equipment and accessories manufacturers."

Currently the site retails nationwide with products such as trapper hats, shoe snow chains, military clothing and army surplus being responsible for the rapid growth, as the winter season comes to a close and spring approaches this could be seen a smart move by Koldwear to ensure that product lines move with the seasons of each year.

2011 has been an exiting year so far for such a fledgling business, judging by the latest announcement of expansion plans one would predict that the remainder of the year will continue to be somewhat interesting and challenging for Koldwear Direct.
