eSOURCE has just been re-accredited as an Investor in People for the 3rd time. The constituent companies first obtained recognition in 2001 and then again in 2003 and 2006.

This is a significant achievement given the major change management initiatives and diversity of operations in the Newbury based office and within the field force. It again proves that the senior management is committed to real investment in training and development, so important in a people based organisation where service and response is essential at all levels to enhance the customer experience.

The Investor in people program has a simple vision and that is to, increase the productivity of the UK economy by improving the way in which organisations manage and develop their people, leading to business improvement and better public services. And it is this ethos that has driven eSOURCE in the last decade to ensure every member of staff has every available opportunity to develop their career and self with programs suited to their own development.

Brian Haines, Major Accounts Director for eSOURCE has been instrumental in the program and has managed the people and all the training initiatives following much earlier recognition of Investor in People whilst at NatWest.
Tania Dunton, the independent assessor, was pleased to find the evidence for all Investor in People standards and in particular where there had been a particular re-focus on the role of Team Leaders and revised appraisal systems.
