New & improved remote device support software launched by CentraStage
Buckinghamshire UK, March 2010 – CentraStage, a leading IT device management and support software provider, has announced the release of its new managed services solution. CentraStage Version 3.4 offers businesses and IT support companies a solution to remotely monitor and manage their IT infrastructure. The new solution offers simpler and more flexible tools to monitor and manage IT infrastructure, in turn reducing customer down time and boosting efficiency.
V3.4 has improved on the previous product features of remote support, audit and asset management, device monitoring, software deployment, device management and configuration, and reporting. Key enhancements include LAN deployment, to allow customers to scan their network for all devices and then deploy CentraStage; energy usage tracking, to allow customers to track the monthly energy usage of devices; enhanced remote support capabilities through the CentraStage Agent Browser (CAG); and VNC mirror driver support, greatly improving remote takeover performance.
All of the V3.4 improvements allow CentraStage’s customers to increase the efficiency of their IT support operations, improve system management and improve the security and stability of their technology environment. The release also further improves CentraStage’s flexible remote support capability, which allows administrators to access any device over any network either through its browser-based management console or a locally installed CAG browser.
