BT offers superfast Infinity free for 3 months

Press release July 13, 2011 Multimedia

BT has just launched their latest summer broadband deals, and are now offering their super fast service, BT Infinity, free for 3 months.

BT is looking to increase the uptake of their superfast BT Infinity service, and have taken the decision to offer the More Broadband & Calls with BT Infinity package free for 3 months, and then just £18 a month thereafter.

This deal comes at a time when broadband users are really putting a strain on their home broadband services. More and more UK households are choosing to use online TV services like BBC iPlayer and 4oD, and as a result the demand for superfast broadband should increase considerably over the next year.

A spokesman for commented “UK households are getting increasingly frustrated with buffering while watching online programmes and films through services like the BBC iPlayer and 4oD. As a result demand for broadband with faster download and upload speeds should increase over the next 12 months, and this deal should help speed the process up a little”.

BT Infinity is not yet available to every household in the UK. However if a household can’t yet get BT Infinity in their home, they can still sign up for one of the other BT Broadband packages, and get a free upgrade to Infinity if it does become available.
