Competition vows to get the nation singing

Fed up of singing into a hairbrush looking at the mirror and wishing you were in a concert hall?

Well, the search is on to find the King and Queen of Karaoke and organisers of Britain’s Karaoke have enlisted the help of a celebrity panel to find new undiscovered talent.

However, this is a talent competition with a difference because the competitors will not only be in with a shot of a recording contract and a large cash prize but will also be taking part in a major fund-raising event for two UK cancer charities (Everyman Male Cancer Campaign and Ovarian Cancer Action)

Eleven cities up and down the UK will be taking part and the competition judges and guest celebrity judges will be at each venue encouraging the public to take part in the voting too.

The crowned winners at the end will receive a very large cash prize, the possibility of a management contract and record deal.

Daniel James, one of the organisers of the event said:
“There is a definite buzz already about this competition and we have got an impressive line-up of celebrity judges which is growing by the day who have agreed to be part of it.

“We’re hoping for a big response to the competition and at the same time, help raise the profile for two very worthy causes who will benefit financially from this competition."

Guest celeb Judges announced so far include:
Leon Lopez, Amanda Wilson, Craig Philips, Tom Hudson, Lucy Evans, Stephanie Waring, Luke Bailey, Elliott Tittensor, Scott Wright, Sarah Lawrence, Samatha Sidall, Daniel Brocklebank, Glenn Ball, David Ducasse, Alexis Hall and many more to be announced.
