Brand expert Simon Middleton to present major new TV series on brands and branding

Shooting is under way for new series to explain the power, meaning and importance of brands and branding.

Norfolk-based independent brand advisor Simon Middleton is to front, and write, a new TV series on the subject of brands and branding. 

With shooting already under way it is expected that the series will air later this year. The series title and the commissioning channel will be confirmed soon, according to Mr Middleton, who brands himself as both The Brand Strategy Guru and Simon The Brand Guy

"The series will be accessible and entertaining, as well as informative. Brands are the real power in our economic life today, yet the person in the street, and indeed many businesses and organisations, don't always understand just how they work, and why they are important," said Mr Middleton. 

The series is expected to feature extensive interviews with the people behind some of the UK's best known brands. 

"In this series we'll explain why brands matter and we'll show small entrepreneurs how they can learn the lessons of the big brand companies and apply them successfully to their own small businesses." 

"No one else has made a series like this before, and we think it will have a wide appeal to the business community and to a general interest audience," Mr Middleton added.
