Active Ramsgate - An Attractive Website For Ramsgate!

Press release June 29, 2013 Tourism

A new central hub of information about Ramsgate in Kent, UK

We are thrilled to announce that the ICELAB Ltd is supporting the promotion of Active Ramsgate online.

Active Ramsgate www.ramsgatetown.org is a website dedicated to the town of Ramsgate in Kent – a real hidden gem to be explored by locals and visitors alike. Ramsgate still has a lot to offer as a destination for young families, couples and senior citizens alike.

The website aims to be a central hub of information about the town with news, history and community information. You can also sign up on the site to receive regular email updates. Just go to www.ramsgatetown.org and click on the ‘Sign Up’ button.

The website follows a model which has proved successful for other towns around the UK, and it is already doing well for Ramsgate. If you are planning a visit to Ramsgate you will find information on where to stay, places to eat, attractions, places of interest, shopping and directions on getting to Ramsgate. There is also a What's On section with an up to date diary of events, meetings and activities taking place in Ramsgate.

ICELAB director Alan Noake is delighted to be promoting the website, and believes it fits in well with his philosophy of encouraging people to support their local communities by spending money and shopping locally.

“Our coastal towns have a wonderful heritage” he said, “however there is now a renewed desire to support the local economy. Sites like www.ramsgatetown.org help make it possible to so, offering the convenience of the internet to help everyone plan a day out or short stay by the sea in Kent.”
