Two organisations, engaged in wood trading worldwide, join forces to form a new partnership.

We are pleased to announce that DSHwood and Carl Ronnow Malaysia have entered into a partnership agreement centred on logs and sawn timber trading.

Both companies, having been in involved in timber trading all over the world for quite some time, are now able to bring their individual expertise to this partnership.

With this new structure, we see a lot of mutual synergies, and we are confident that this partnership will strengthen our presence in the marketplace.

Furthermore, rest assured that our day to day operations will not be impacted by this collaboration, to the contrary it is our aim to improve our services to customers, suppliers and other parties alike.

DSHwood was established as a department in the Danish Forest Association after a number of
significant storms in 1967. Through the 1970´s and 80´sthe department developed significant
exports of Danish wood especially softwood to Scandinavia and Hardwood to Asia. In year
2000 the department was reorganized into DSHwood as an independent subsidiary of the
Forest Association. The Danish Forest Association remains 100% owner of DSHwood.

DSHwood is an international wood trading company. We trade in all main wood products,
softwood and hardwood logs, lumber and energy wood. Through our world-wide network we ensure stable supplies to wood industries as well heating and power plants at attractive prices for all parties We sell wood on the European markets as well as for Overseas Export. Our main markets are China, Germany, India, Vietnam, The UK and Denmark. 

We buy wood mainly from Denmark, Germany, UK and France. We buy all major timer species
and buy logs, lumber, chips and energy wood.

Carl Ronnow (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a Global Timber Exporter which has, for 28 years, been
specializing in supplying Meranti and other Malaysian Hardwoods to the Middle East, South
Africa, Asia and Europe. 

Carl Ronnow was set up in Kota Kinabalu Sabah in 1989 by its current owners. The main office
is located on a 15 hectare site that has covered storage areas of 60,000 m2 and 3000m3 Kiln
capacity. CR has traditionally exported from ports all around East and West Malaysia.

In more recent times Carl Ronnow has been supplying wood products from Europe and Africa
into the Near and Far Eastern market places.
