Pressemeddelelse oktober 17, 2006 Økonomi

Copenhagen, Denmark - October 17, 2006 - pulz8 Communication has achieved a major break-through by signing a multi-million Euro contract to deliver their solutions for metro systems in China. The deal calls for pulz8 to provide its unique wireless communication system in time for the 2008 Summer Olympics.

The system, installed in the metros trains and tunnels, will link up its entire network, providing a secure and reliable high-speed wireless data connection for security services.

'We are very honoured to have been chosen to implement the system in China. This is a fantastic opportunity for pulz8 and will be a great reference case,” said pulz8 founder and CEO, Alexander Høgh about the deal.

Adding, 'We have delivered a system that can fulfill the extreme requirements for train security applications and we are presently in negotiation to deliver similar systems in several other countries”.

The solutions provide high speed connectivity to and from moving trains by installing pulz8 access points in the tunnels and pulz8 Train Units located onboard the trains. From the Train Unit, connection is established to the various access points and Internet access provided to the moving train via the pulz8 Central System Router.

The solution that pulz8 will implement in China also includes a complete management system.
