Epoka is an alternative supplier to the traditional IT hardware distribution channel with a special focus on refurbished products. Epoka’s challenge before the PIM solution
Before the implementation of Perfion PIM, the way Epoka handled product data was “much like a spaghetti”; some departments were using PowerPoints, others Excel sheets and Word documents. When Chief Marketing Officer Chris Zimmerman was hired to develop the eCommerce website, he quickly saw that vital product information of the company’s 25,000 SKUs was missing in order to have online success.

Perfion works perfectly together with GfK Etilize — Epoka’s product specification supplying database, covering 20-30% of their products. The specifications are integrated into Perfion and from here, Epoka can further enrich product data. Customers on Epoka’s eCommerce website have acces to all the information at once, no matter if it originates from GfK Etilize or from Perfion.
Filtering functionality completely flexible
Epoka sells a very diverse range of products with between 6 and 25 attributes. With Perfion as their flexible tool, Epoka is able to filter all this information – no matter if the product is big or small – and ensure online customers a great experience.
Chris Zimmerman explains:
