The Red Meat Advisory Council (RMAC) has today welcomed Australia’s own Hardcore Carnivore to Canberra, Jess Pryles.

Ms Pryles is a cook, author, host and Hardcore Carnivore and has travelled to our nation’s capital to promote the Australian red meat and livestock industry and the ethical, environmental and economic role it plays to Australia.

Ms Pryles said that it is a tremendous honor to travel back to Australia and participate in this event celebrating red meat in our nations capital.

“As a professional Carnivore, I get to spend every day sharing my passion for red meat. Teaching classes and sharing recipes is one thing, but getting to park a huge barbecue smoker on the front lawn of parliament is a pretty big deal!”

“Australia should be incredibly proud of the exceptional quality of the red meat we are producing. It’s a world class product that any chef would be grateful to work with, and any punter would be lucky to eat.”

Ms Pryles will host a reception at Australian Parliament House on 19 September 2018 with more than 100 of Australia’s red meat industry leaders, Ministers, Shadow Ministers, Members of Parliament and Senators, highlighting the role of the industry in making Australia a Red Meat Nation.

Ms Pryles is the creator of Hardcore Carnivore and a live fire cook, author, and total meat nerd. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she now calls Austin, Texas home.

More information on Ms Pryles, including recipes, can be found at the Hardcore Carnivore website.
